About the DataPro data center
The data center is located in its building in Moscow not far from the Aviamotornaya metro station.
3 certifications of compliance with Tier III in the categories of Design, Facility, and Operations.
The total area of 16000 sq.m, including 4000 sq.m of offices and storage premises.
The EcoBreeze modular cooling solution is installed at the data center. This indirect free cooling unit is used, and freon precision air conditioning units are used as a backup.
The predicted annual PUE is 1.072, which is significantly below the average in the industry.
The data center’s power supply comes from two independent reserved power supplies using DRUPS technology (diesel rotary uninterruptible power supply).
DRUPS combines the functionality of a few systems: A flywheel-based UPS and a diesel generator with 12 hours of autonomous use.
The data center is equipped with a very early smoke detection apparatus VESDA in every room. Aspirating smoke detectors continuously draw air through a network of pipes and process it by two-level filtering to a smoke detecting chamber, controlled by a stable laser source. In the presence of smoke, the light is scattered and immediately processed by a centralized, highly sensitive detection unit.
Automatic installation of gas fire extinguishing provides elimination of ignition sources without affecting sensitive electronics. HFC-227 used in fire suppression has zero ozone-depleting potential and can be used in rooms with people.
